Dr. Goare received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and she completed her surgical residency at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Most recently, she completed a fellowship in Breast and Endocrine Surgery in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. 
 
With a focus on breast and endocrine surgery, Dr. Goare’s fellowship included all realms of general surgery and trauma experience, including training in:
  • Thyroidectomy
  • Parathyroidectomy
  • Laparoscopic and open adrenalectomy
  • Mastectomy surgery for breast cancer including simple, modified radical and nipple sparing, lumpectomy and axillary dissection 
 
Dr. Goare is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Surgeons, American Association of Endocrine Surgeons and the Association of Women Surgeons.
