Our Services

We provide the most advanced, state-of-the-art procedures and treatment plans. In addition, our patients have access to more than 270 clinical trials offered by OhioHealth.

Surgical Oncology
We work closely with each patient to evaluate the individual cancer condition and determine the best treatment plan. Typically this involves:

  • Making a diagnosis that takes into consideration the unique fingerprint of the patient’s cancer and how it behaves
  • Staging the cancer (determining how far along it has progressed so as to develop the best approach to treatment)
  • Assessing the best order of surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation for best treatment and curability

Cancers we treat include:

  • Foregut (esophagus, stomach)
  • Hepatobiliary (liver, pancreas, bile duct)
  • Endocrine (thyroid/parathyroid, adrenal)
  • Colon
  • Breast
  • Skin cancers (melanoma, basal cell, squamous cell)

We provide extensive expertise for hepatobiliary cancers, including cases that are difficult to treat and also providing surgical options for safe and effective removal of tumors previously thought to be inoperable.

General Surgery

  • Foregut (esophagus, stomach)
  • Hepatobiliary (liver, pancreas)
  • Endocrine (thyroid/parathyroid, adrenal)
  • Colon
  • Breast
  • Hernias
  • Gallbladder

Our surgeons far exceed volume averages in pancreatic, hepatic, thyroid/parathyroid and esophageal surgeries. Studies have shown that these surgeries, when performed at facilities with high volume, result in better patient outcomes than the national average.*
